UPS Monitoring Cards
UPS monitoring cards provide a way to remotely monitor an uninterruptible power supply using a variety of protocols including SNMP, Modbus and relay contacts. A UPS system will typically provide a signal contact alarm when there running on battery or approaching a low battery threshold or when there is a general fault alarm. SNMP and Modbus features provide more functionality and allow the UPS to provide more detailed operating information. A plug-in SNMP card provides the UPS with an IP address and connection to the local area network it is protecting.
