Hardwired and Wireless Monitoring Sensors

The monitoring sensors shown below include both analog and digital sensors and can be used to monitor and detect for a range of environmental factors. Most sensors are designed for indoor usage in computer rooms, server rooms, data centres, warehouses, clean rooms, scientific laboratories, offices, schools and industrial buildings. Others are designed for outdoor usage and extreme weather conditions. Plug-in sensors are generally brand specific meaning that the sensors should be purchased for use with a suitable monitoring base station. Typical sensors include temperature, temperature & humidity and water leakage detection and include products from APC, AKCP, Avtech or HW Group. Sensors designed for third party interfaces can be wired into most devices, and these fire and smoke detection. The AKCP Wireless Tunnel allows any of the hardwired plug-in sensors from AKCP to be connected to form a wireless monitoring system that is easy to deploy over large open areas including warehouses and manufacturing sites.
