Automated Alert Systems
All our monitoring systems gather data from their connected sensors and third-party systems. They compare this to preset thresholds and logic triggers alert notifications should any reading go outside a threshold range (upper or lower limits) or a device state change.
Alert notifications are distributed to predefined lists with defined calendars to ensure the right person gets the right message at the right time:
- Email: still one of the most common ways to receive an alert. We have predefined scripts that can be customised for your site and project.
- SMS Text Alerts: a preferred method for team members who receive numerous email alerts and most commonly used in contact and security centres.
- Phone Calls: some of our devices can call a set number with a computer generated voice alert.
- SNMP: base units can provide information and alerts via SNMP to third-party DCIMs and building management systems.
- M2M Protocols: including BACnet, MQTT, Modbus/TCP and others with a REST API and RADIUS server authentication
