The NB-WLD Narrowband IoT Water Leakage Detector can detect water leaks using a moisture-sensing cable which can be up to 85m in length. The total cable run can be extended to 185m using an 85m sensing cable and a 100m connecting cable. The sensing cable is very sensitive and can detect conductive liquid droplets and can be used to detect condensation and prevent damage from small water leaks and adverse environmental conditions. The NB-WLD is powered by an external power source and has an internal battery (2year life). The device can be monitored using the SensDesk portal, and the portal configured to send email alerts to a distribution list when there is a water leakage alarm. Text messages (SMS) can also be sent via SensDesk or an email-to-SMS text service.
