Perseus Industrial 300 is a scalable DIN rail mount LAN monitoring and control unit for industrial, infrastructure and environmental applications. Perseus Industrial 300 connects physical sensors, Digital Inputs (DI) and Digital Outputs (DO), and third-party meters via LAN or Modbus/RTU. With wide alerting options, open APIs and SensDesk portal support, Perseus Industrial 300 is ideal for professional remote monitoring and site automation. The device has two sensor ports for additional 1-Wire plug-in sensors.
The expandable architecture of Perseus 300 is based on RTU and DIN rail expanders to allow the connection of multiple DI/DO in various combinations. Perseus Industrial 300 combines data from external physical detectors and meters with data from other HWg devices connected via a local area network. Local conditions, Lua scripting, calendar or periodic scheduler help to analyze the measured data.
The Perseus platform supports wide alerting options (Email, SNMP Trap), Open API (BACnet, Modbus/TCP, MQTT). Meters API allows Perseus Industrial 300 to collect values from other HWg devices (e.g. STE2 R2) over LAN and use them for local conditions, alerts, scripts or Portal visualization. This makes Perseus not only a sensor device, but also a local data concentrator for distributed monitoring systems. External sensors can be connected to an RTU (RS-485) terminal block.

Perseus Scalable Remote Terminal RTU DIN-rail Modules
The Perseus Industrial 300, 310 and 315 units provide Digital Inputs (DI), volt-free/dry contacts with S0 pulse counters and Digital Outputs (DO) relays. DIN rail RTU-Expanders can be added to expand the number of DI contacts and DO relays to meet the needs of the application project.
