Legrand TriMOD 20kW Modular UPS 1/1, 3/1, 1/3 or 3/3 Single or 3Phase 5th Gen System

The Legrand TriMOD 5th Generation 20kVA/20kW Modular UPS is a high efficiency, flexible UPS system with single and three phase configurations which are set during installation. These include 1/1, 3/1, 3/3 and 1/3 phase setups. The TriMOD system also features N+X redundancy in terms of its internal modular and cabinet design. Additional modules can be installed internally to achieve N+1 and UPS module cabinets can be paralleled for redundancy or scalability.

Energy efficiency figures including operation up to 96.5% on online mode, and 99% in Eco energy saving mode and the UPS is compact and light to reduce transportation and installation costs. Maintenance costs are also reduced due to the modular design.

Each TriMOD UPS has a built-in 5inch touch screen display, with multicolor LED status bar, to provide a user-friendly interface for monitoring the UPS in real time. Historical alarm logs and messages facilitate maintenance and
resolution of problems. The UPS also features the latest generation of Legrand predictive diagnostics to anticipate potential faults, ensuring maximum business continuity. The concave shape of the HMI allows for a wider field of view
and optimises light direction, ensuring clear and readable content from every angle.

The TriMod UPS design allows for:

• Redunancy on Single-Phase Load: in a system with three-phase power supply and single-phase load, if one of the modules fails, there is no loss of power as it is supplied by the other modules in operation.
• Redundnacy on The Phases: in a system with three independent outputs, it is possible to set the redundancy on the single phases. If one of the power modules fails, the modules in the same phase take over for the defective module.
• Horizontal Redundancy:each TriMOD unit can be connected in parallel with one or more units to obtain the desired power and redundancy level. In addition, the inverter output can be synchronised for no-break load transfers by downstream static transfer switches.

The TriMOD UPS multi-control board system provides advanced redundancy for service continuity. TriMOD can be configured with 1 to 4 Multi Control Boards ensuring redundant control of the UPS, and to eliminate single points of failure for maximising reliability. In the event of a failure of one of the control boards, only the modules it controls is switched off. The system ensures service continuity by automatically redistributing the lost power to the other modules.

These features make the Legrand TriMOD Moduldar UPS ideal for IT, server room and data centre applications and allows the system to be scaled to meet demand.

Plug-in UPS Modules

The TriMOD 20kVA/20kW UPS uses 6.7kW UPS modules and can be installed with upto 3 modules in a capacity or N+X configuration. Plug-in battery drawers allow an internal runtime of 9-20 minutes. External battery cabinets can be connected for long runtimes and a larger battery charger module is available for larger battery configurations.

UPS Frame Sizes

The UPS is available in two cabinet sizes with the same width and depth but different heights to accommodate from 12 to 16 plug-in battery drawers. The standard cabinet (A) has a height of 1370mm and the extended height cabinet (B) 1650mm.
