Wireless Access Points (Wi-Fi)

Wi-Fi Wireless Access Points are used to create a wireless network to which devices can connect to in order to send and receive data, over a network or to connect to the Internet. Using WAPs removes the need for a hardwired Ethernet cable connection between the device and the wireless access point. Examples include mobiles, tables, laptops, desktop computers, internet wireless devices such as printers, security door systems, alarms, IP cameras, monitoring devices and almost any other compatible device with a Wi-Fi connection feature.
