The 5 Dry Contact Inputs for the sensorProbe SP2 and SP2+ adds 6 dry contacts (volt-free signal contacts) per RJ45 port. These contacts can used to monitor any dry contact inputs through one of the RJ45 sensor ports: 10 on a sensorProbe SP2 and 20 on a sensorProbe SP2+.
The sensor requires the 10 dry contact unlock license (DCS) for the SP2. On the SP2+ 5 dry contact licenses can be used on a per-port basis. The dry contacts on the 5DCS are input only. An I/O can be added on a sensor port, by adding a single dry contact cable (DCS15).
