The Tripp Lite SmartRack portable air conditioning unit supplies 3.5kW.12000BTU of cooling for small server rooms, racks and network closets, The unit plugs into a standard single phase supply and is supplied with a BS 1363 UK style plug. The SmartRack air conditioner is fully self-contained and is designed to cool heat-sensitive equipment in areas where there is no air conditioning or a there is a need for additional cooling.
The unit is compact with a small footprint and has a flexible output duct to allow cold air to be supplied precisely to where it is needed. It has a built-in evaporator and expels condensed water through the directional exhaust duct, eliminating the need for a drain tube, drain pan or water collection tank, dehumidifies and filters the air, auto restarts after a power failure and can be programmed for timed operation (shutdown and startup).
