The FIAMM FIT battery is a valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) type with front terminals for telecoms type applications and installation in 19inch and 23inch cabinets. The battery has a compact footprint and high energy density and the design allows for easy access to the terminals for installation, maintenance and battery testing. The FIT battery has a 99% internal recombination efficiency, and requires no topping up of the electrolyte during its lifetime. The electrolyte is non-spillable and the battery is non-hazardous and compliant with international standards for shipment via air, sea, rail and road transportation. FIT batteries are 100% recyclable and have a self-discharge rate of less than 2% per month.
The FLB battery is a valve regulated lead acid design for high performance, reliability and float life. The battery has a compact footprint and high energy density for space efficient battery layouts to reduce the overall footprint and installation space required. FLB battery blocks are can be installed into battery cabinets or onto battery stands. The FLB battery design is maintenance free with a non-spillable electrolyte and 99% internal recombination efficiency. The battery is non-hazardous and suitable for transportation via air, sea, rail and road. The self discharge rate is less than 2% per month and the battery is 100% recyclable.
The SLA battery is a valve regulated lead acid battery for high level reliability and security applications. The internal recombination efficiency is 99% and the electrolyte is non-spillable and maintenance free. SLA batteries are non-hazardous for transportation and have a self-discharge rate of less than 2% to allow for long shelf life and storage.
FGL battery blocks are designed for installation in battery cabinets or onto battery racks or stands and use VRLA technology with a 99% internal recombination efficiency. The batteries are maintenance free with a non-spillable electrolyte and non-hazardous making them suitable for general transportation. The battery is 100% recyclable with a self-discharge rate of less than 2%.
The SSLA battery is designed for a wide range of application requiring a compact footprint. The battery uses ‘fast-on’ terminals for easy installation The SSLA battery consists of four types:

The SMG battery is a tubular GEL-type battery with a long design life and wide temperature operating range. The SMG battery is maintenance free with 2Vdc and 12Vdc battery blocks. The 2Vdc battery cell conforms to the international OPzV standards DIN40742 norm. The SMG battery has a low self-discharge rate and can be installed horizontally into racks to help reduce the overall footprint of the battery installation. All components can be recycled.
